Just hours after U.S. airstrikes targeted nuclear facilities inside Iran, sources close to decision-making circles in Tehran revealed plans for upcoming “surprise operations” against Israel, while Iranian forces continue closely monitoring American military bases across the region.

According to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, unnamed sources stated that Iranian leadership now considers Israel as the “primary base” of the United States in the Middle East. Their strategic focus, the report said, is centered on striking Israeli targets without allowing any U.S. intervention to disrupt these plans.

In a significant escalation, the United States launched air raids early Sunday using B-2 stealth bombers, hitting three Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. These strikes crossed what Iran had previously warned were red lines.

In a press conference held in Istanbul, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran would not disclose how it intends to respond to the strikes for now, stressing that "all options remain on the table."

To downplay the impact of the attacks, Iranian state TV broadcast official statements claiming the targeted facilities had already been evacuated prior to the strikes, and that enriched uranium had been moved to "safe and undisclosed locations." No details were provided on where or when the relocation occurred.

Following the strikes, Iranian state television aired a detailed map of American bases and interests in the Middle East. In a direct message to Washington, the presenter warned: “Any person or institution affiliated with the United States is now a target. You started this — we will finish it.”

He added, “Every American soldier or citizen in the region is now a legitimate target.”

These developments signal a dangerous new phase in the conflict, where Iran’s nuclear program and regional tensions converge — with open threats and uncertain responses pushing the crisis into uncharted territory.
